Luci Soaps – Henderson, KY

Luci Felty (Henderson, KY) will be demonstrating soap making the old fashion way.  She will also have handmade soap & other body products available for purchase.

Petting Zoo (five animals)

Bobby Proctor (Henderson, KY) will have small animals available for viewing and petting.

Red Work Embroidery

Sue Berry (Henderson, KY) will show historic examples of Red Work embroidery and will also demonstrate the technique.

Butter Making

Demonstrators will be showing the “old fashion” way to make butter.  Those attending will also be able to “sample” the finished product.

Harmonica Guy

Demonstrations on how to play a harmonica and harmonicas will be provided for those attending demonstration

Depot Community Room

Donna Spencer (Henderson, KY) and her crew will be demonstrating old fashion games and activities for children and their families to participate in.

Old Fashion Calligraphy

Robert Brooks (Hartford, KY) will be demonstrating turkey quill making and how to use this primitive instrument in writing with home made ink (also made the old fashion way).  Attendees will be able to participate.

History of Flags

Spencer and Linda Brewer (Muhlenburg County, KY) will display and discuss the history of many of the flags used in the history of the United States.


Priscilla Rowland (Henderson, KY) will demonstrate the art of hand quilting.

Kentucky Wheelman

Members of the Kentucky Wheelman will display vintage bicycles and related items. 

19th Century Hand Sewing

Dannye Lawson (Calhoun, KY) will show historic examples of hand sewing and will also demonstrate 19th century hand sewing techniques.


Gayle Acton will demonstrate the art of spinning wool.

Basket Weaving

Woven Together in Western KY guild members will be demonstrating basket weaving techniques.


Nancy Voyles, manger of the genealogy department at the Henderson County Public Library, will have informational material available to begin you family genealogy journey.
