7th Annual Disc Golf Tournament
Saturday, August 12
This is a great tournament operated by the Audubon Flyers Disc Golf Club for professional as well as recreational golfers. The tournament will be held on Henderson’s excellent disc golf course in Atkinson Park. Here’s the schedule:
Registration, 8-9 am
Tournament, 10 am
Prize money and awards.
Play hard, then play easy by coming on down to the Festival site in Audubon Mill Park for great music and delicious food!
Food Glorious Food
Concessions Friday and Saturday, August 11-12
Throughout the Festival, our food and drink vendors will be serving delicious BBQ pork, pork chop sandwiches, ribeye steak sandwiches, hot dogs, brats, ice cream, ribbon fries, fried green tomatoes, kettle corn, ice cold soft drinks and lemonade, and much more!
Come hungry and enjoy great festival fare while you listen to the best Bluegrass around!
Fox on the Run 5K
Friday, August 11 Race Starts at 7:00 PM
Whether you walk or run this year’s Bluegrass event Fox on the Run 5K is just for you.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Shelter for Women and Children. The Shelter for Women & Children provides safe, clean, temporary shelter for women with and without children in Henderson and the surrounding area.

Breakfast in the Park
All You Can Eat Saturday, August 12
The Downtown Henderson Partnership will once again host the annual Breakfast in the Park on Saturday morning to kick off the day for Bluegrass in the Park. The breakfast is held in Audubon Mill Park and features an all-you-can-eat fare of of pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. Breakfast is from 7am until 10am and also features music by local favorite, Keith Vincent.
Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5 for children and are available in advance at the DHP office at 131 North Main or at the breakfast in the park Saturday morning.
Kentucky Wheelman Ride
Saturday, August 12 Noon
The first year for a demonstration ride by The Wheelman. They invite the community to join them as they ride their bikes down Main Street. They will loop through the city starting at Second and Water Streets, turning North on Elm Street to 12th Street to Main Street. Returning South on Main Street with a refreshment stop at the League of Their Own house for a brief rest on the porch as Frank Nally tells the history of the fine old ‘Lady’.
After a brief rest, the ride will continue South on Main Street to the St. Louis Cemetery or further South to Fairmont Cemetery. The reverse course is North on Main Street to Washington Street. Turn East on Washington Street to Elm Street. North on Elm to Second Street with a return to Audubon Mill Park on Water Street.
Antique Tractors and Antique Cars
Saturday, August 12 10:00 am
Jim Davis will show his antique tractor collection on Water Street near the Henderson Fountain.
Antique cars owned by members of the Model A club will be on display.

As a part of our Folklife Festival on Saturday, August 12, Bluegrass in the Park, the Depot Community Room will have lots of fun, games, and arts and crafts specially designed for our younger festival goers. 10am-4pm.
